EFS Update June ’10

Posted in Updates on 7 June, 2010 by Lunar Day

Bridges of Königsberg – After releasing their first album We Have Many Faces and playing their first three shows the band is taking a short break to write some new material and enjoy the nice weather. There are already shows planned for July.

Connectedness Locus – Our electronic comrad has been holding down the fort with numerous music video and interview releases, as well as playing very inspiring live sets at our local music hot spot, Swing State. We’ve also been told that there are talks of new material from CL in the near future so keep your ears open.

Heat PeanutsThe Feline Mind Control Experiment has been released and you can either consume it through the previous link or snatch a physical copy at one of Trent Parker Reed’s live performances.

Sioum – The first full length release has proven to be a mighty foe to conquer. But after battling this giant for almost 8 months they can finally breath a sigh of relief. I Am Mortal, But Was Fiend is the name of their debut album. It is done and we will have a release date for you very soon. Also keep an eye out for live performances from this electrifying trio.

Epic Oasis Show

EFS artists Sioum, Bridges of Königsberg, and Connectedness Locus will be playing this Friday along with Lybria and Reach for the Skies.

For those of you that missed it, Bridges of Königsberg had an exceptionally successful first show last Saturday at Swing State. The stage was covered with keyboards, pedals, samplers, custom lights, and other mysterious artifacts. As special surprise for both Lunar Day and Pstetwoo fans, BoK covered tracks from both Casiopus and No One Needs Proof. Quite a treat indeed!!!

EFS Update April ’10

Posted in Updates on 17 April, 2010 by Lunar Day

Quite a few things have been happening, under the radar, in the world of EFS.

-Sioum(formerly Mirrek), after a long and arduous process, are finally nearing the completion of their debut full-length album. They are in the final stages of mixing and should be handing the LP over to mastering in the next few weeks. The band has also returned to their regular live performance schedule. You can find their upcoming shows on their MySpace.

-Bridges of Königsberg, the newest addition to the EFS family, have also hit studio to record their first release. The EP is titled We Have Many Faces, and should be released sometime in May. BoK have also booked their first shows in May; the dates are May 22nd and 28th. They will be performing these dates with Sioum and Connectedness Locus. For more frequent updates you can visit The Official Bridges of Königsberg Website or their MySpace.

-Connectedness Locus has been releasing new tracks, most recently “Bathysphere,” as well as “When The Paint Peels.” The artist has also been frequently performing his new material live for the past few months. For updates about live CL performances you can visit his MySpace.

-Heat Peanuts will soon be releasing his debut EP titled, The Feline Mind Control Experiment. The EP which was produced by Paul Petrosyan (Bridges of Königsberg, Lunar Day) is a 4 track excursion into the depths of Trent Parker Reed’s fragile and alienated mind. This self described “weird rock” release will confuse and intrigue you. The album will be available for physical purchase at the Heat Peanuts CD release show on April 23rd at The Swing State Venue in Lake Villa, IL, as well as from our catalog page. Visit Heat Peanuts at his MySpace.

When the Paint Peels

Posted in 1 on 20 February, 2010 by Connectedness Locus

It’s my pleasure to announce the 2nd official release and a creative milestone for Connectedness Locus, “When the Paint Peels.” An ambient odyssey that will swallow you whole and put you on journey through its insides like the great beast Jabu-Jabu. When you come out 20 minutes later do not talk to girls, try to perform high rope tricks, or drive a car. These tasks will prove to be very difficult as you will be in a transcendental state. However, if these acts are not in your near future. You can download the adventure from this Web Portal.

Enjoy!
